Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the engineering team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for engineering projects, equipment maintenance logs, and safety compliance documents.
- Correspondence Handling: Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and internal memos related to engineering operations.
- Project Coordination: Assist with project documentation, tracking timelines, and ensuring that engineering project deadlines and milestones are met.
- Procurement Support: Assist in the preparation of purchase requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies required for engineering operations.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and schedule departmental meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Help ensure that engineering operations are compliant with health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining records of safety inspections and maintenance schedules.
- General Office Duties: Perform general office tasks such as filing, typing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies as needed.
Professional requirements (minimum):
- Bachelor’s Degree or ND
- Preferred- Engineering, Business Administration, Secretarial studies, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of engineering terminology and manufacturing processes would be an advantage

- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides…
- OR it’s equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
- Good knowledge of other project management software would be helpful as well
