Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  • Design, implement, and maintain the facility’s Quality Management System, ensuring all operational processes align with national  regulatory standards (such as NAFDAC, SON). 
  • Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch manufacturing records, specifications, and validation protocols to uphold data integrity and ensure that it is duly followed by staff.
  •  Lead investigations into manufacturing or laboratory deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and customer complaints using root cause analysis, followed by implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). 
  •  Plan and execute internal self-inspections, qualify external raw material suppliers and contractors, and lead the facility during official regulatory agency inspections.
  •  Oversee quality approval for the qualification and validation of manufacturing equipment, computer systems, and critical plant processes (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Conduct final reviews of production data and authorize the disposition or market release of pharmaceutical batches.
  • Manage the Quality department staff and ensure that they work effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage comprehensive GMP training matrices for personnel across departments to maintain a high standard of regulatory awareness and competency.

Professional requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s Degree, B.Pharm,  or HND

  • Preferred- BSc/HND/B.Pharm, Pharmacy, Chemistry,  Industrial chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering.

Language required (minimum):

  • English Language

  • Seek and develop new potential customers for Juhel pharmaceutical products and services.
  • Increase the awareness and educate existing and potential customers (distributors, medical practitioners, healthcare centres, government agencies, donor agencies, pharmacies, PPMVs etc.) on Juhel pharmaceutical products.
  • Visit and maintain good contact with existing and potential customers.
  • Make presentations on Juhel product and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure seamless purchasing experience for customers. Communicate with the supply chain team where necessary to achieve this.
  • Ensure the visibility and proper usage and uptake of products after supply to customers.
  • Collect feedback from the field (good and bad) on products, company practices, and market trends to report to the company for potential correction or implementation where relevant.
  • Represent Juhel appropriately and positively, in conferences, daily work, exhibitions, trade shows, rallies etc.
  • Prepare weekly sales and marketing reports.
  • Work with the area sales manager and other sales reps to achieve assigned sales targets for the region.
