Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  • Taking and analysing samples from all stages of manufacturing to ensure they meet project standards.
  • Testing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet the established specifications.
  • Ensure that experiments are completed according to established Standard Operating Practices (SOPs), and also Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Minor equipment troubleshooting, calibration and repair.
  • Report laboratory findings in technical documents and laboratory report sheets.
  • Assisting in defining assay criteria and drafting standard operating procedures.
  • Review laboratory test outcomes, comparing them with set criteria and advising on whether results are suitable for release.
  • Keeping laboratory instruments and equipment in good working condition.
    Keeping track of instruments and equipment routine maintenance.
  • Conducting quality control checks throughout the production process.

Professional requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND or equivalent
  • Preferred Degree – (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology)  

Language required (minimum):

Software knowledge required (minimum):

In-process Officer

Experience required: 1-3 years (pharmaceutical industry preferred)

Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  • Monitoring and inspection of production processes at all stages of production.
  • To prepare the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and reports on process control activities.
  • Monitor and assess product quality by inspecting manufacturing and packaging operations, batch documents, and provide advice during manufacturing operations.
  • Inspecting production areas to make sure they are cleaned, sanitised, and free from material or residues from previous batch production.
  • Carry out sampling of intermediate/bulk products and finished products
  • Collection of retention samples from production. Reconciliation and transfer of the retained samples to the retention sample room, ensuring they are stored until their shelf life has expired.
  • Routine water sampling for production activities.
  • Performing immediate products integrity test, for hardness, weight, seal leakage etc.
  • Ensuring that the required process metrics are met and strictly adhered to during production.
  • Reviewing and verifying batch manufacturing records, to ensure accuracy.
 

Professional requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND
  • Preferred- B. Pharm, BSc/HND (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology {Chemistry or Microbiology major} )

Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  • Receive finished products from the production department and verify quantities, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and accompanying documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage of finished goods in accordance with specified temperature, humidity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the stock register.
  • Implement and maintain First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory management practices.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
  • Assist during internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality management system reviews.
  • Monitor stock levels and provide regular inventory reports to management.
  • Report inventory variances, product damages, and warehouse operational issues to management promptly.

Professional requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND
  • Preferred- At least of 1 year experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of GMP, GDP, inventory control systems, and pharmaceutical warehousing practices.

  • English
  • Preferred- none

Software knowledge required (minimum):

  • OR equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)

Personal requirements:

  • Strong inventory and stock control skills.
